Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?

Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately. If you upgrade mid-cycle you are charged the prorated difference; if you downgrade you receive a credit on your next invoice.

What happens if I exceed my bandwidth limit?

We send an alert at 80% of your monthly allowance. Overage bandwidth is billed at $0.15 / GB. On Enterprise, bandwidth is unlimited.

Do you offer a free trial for paid plans?

Yes — every paid plan includes a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial.

Is there a student or open-source discount?

Yes. Verified students and qualifying open-source projects receive 50% off the Pro plan. Apply via our GitHub Sponsors page.

How is database storage calculated?

Database storage is the sum of all managed database instances in your account. Backups are stored separately and not counted toward your quota.

What happens if I exceed my build minutes?

Each plan includes a monthly build-minute allowance (Free 300, Pro 1,000, Premium 2,500). Extra build minutes are billed at $5 per 1,000 minutes ($0.005/min).

How much do uptime monitors cost?

Uptime monitoring is included on paid plans. Active monitors are billed at $1 / month each based on runtime, alongside your other usage.

Are compute charges separate from my subscription?

Yes. Subscription plans cover platform features (team seats, SSO, support tier, etc.). Compute, databases, functions, bandwidth, build minutes, and monitors are billed separately based on actual usage.
